Coaching and Scouting Opportunities
The International Football Development Academy (The iFDA) is a coaching company in England made up of current academy coaches, scouts and physiology experts. Since 2011, we have placed over 60 players into various professional football clubs in England.
We operate two academies:
Elite Development Centre is run on a weekly basis in Manchester open to ninety players by referral/invite only. Players range from those signed at professional football academies to those standing out at grassroots. This training centre offers progression into a variety of professional clubs in the North-West England region, having seen over sixty players from our soccer school progress from grassroots to professional level in just over three years.
Summer Residential Camp is a one or two week camp ran during the months of July-August. This sees over one hundred players fly from all across the world to live, eat and train together experiencing a full time professional athlete’s routine at our UK soccer school. Players experience a week living like a professional footballer under expert guidance. If a parent or child is looking for penalty shoot outs or crossbar challenge, our football academy is not the right place – we take pride in developing young footballers through our unique programme.
We do not promise any player a professional trial, however, if we see someone with the relevant profile then we will give them an opportunity at a professional club.

An under 10 from Los Angeles who attended our Residential Camp in the summer of 2013. He was subsequently given a trial at Everton Academy where he represented them in London’s Premier League Tournament and has been invited back later this year.
His technical and tactical profile suggested he was an elite player. Later that week, we trialled him at Wigan Athletic where he turned in a man of the match performance for the u18’s. He was moved to the senior squad before being recruited to Everton where he trained with the first team under manager David Moyes.
Elias attended two residentials. His technical talent was so profound that we sent him to Bolton Wanderers for a trial. He has since been called up to the national U17 and U19 squad where he is now a regular having signed professional terms. He states iFDA as “my biggest influence, education and inspiration.”
